When I was a kid, I was known as my dad's little "Gopher". He was a carpenter and for as long as I can remember, I would go to work with him and be his "assistant". Now that I am an adult, I sure wish I would have paid closer attention and really learned more. I did; however, become somewhat "handy" with a table saw, hammer, and nails.

In addition, I also have always had a love for everything home decor related. I'm talking a love where your heart smiles and it feels like Christmas morning when I walk into a home furnishings store. Thus, I decided to combine my "handy skills" and my "love for home decor" and the next thing I knew, THE WOODEN BOXX was born.
